I am BACK!!!!!!!
So I know its been a while since I have been able to write to you guys. This past summer my illness went into overdrive and I had to take some time away to get things back on track on recover. During this time my PC crashed and I lost everything I had done in 2012. It has taken me a bit to get things back and my hard drive is in the process of being recovered.
During this time I literally had to step away from the crafting table but I was able to come up with some awesome ideas for the holiday season and for 2013. This month I will be releasing the fall 2012 collection for my crochet items. The patterns are in testing right now. Here is a sneak peak at whats to come.
I have to be honest I can't wait to get back to the sewing machine. I have a new toy as well and this will assist me in MANY departments of my crafting world. I got the Silhouette Cameo Designer Edition.
I was also lucky enough to get the fabric blade. I have to be honest the fabric blade is no different than the regular cutting blade. However we all know that you should never cut fabric with the same blade that you cut paper. I have had some fun playing around on it so far. I have only made a couple Halloween shadowbox cards. You can see some of my first work on my sister site www.kikilovecreations.blogspot.com .
However I wanted to share my latest card and so far my favorite card with you today. I call this one the pumpkin patch. This was also the first time that I tried the distress technique for the first time using Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Vintage Photo). These inks are definitely on my Christmas list for this year.
How was your summer?
Happy Crafting
