Stash it Sunday Week 30

Well I can honestly say that I officially miss fall. It is starting to get cold up here in Wisconsin. I do have to admit I am a bit of a baby when it comes to being cold. Once it starts getting cold I do this sort of nesting thing around the house and I get all my crafting stuff ready for a long crafty hibernation. This last week I sorted through all my fabric and pulled out everything that I would like to work with this season. Do you do anything like that?

Well this week we stopped by our Lovely sponsor and found a couple great collections to share with you.

Fat Quarter Shop

So we all know that Christmas is really just around the corner. Many of us have started pulling out our Christmas fabric and starting those holiday sewing projects. Here is one collection that is a must have. The Bows All Wrapped Up Collection by Maywood Studios is so yummy!! I think this would make an amazing table topper or even some fabulous place mats. I would love to add this collection to my stash for sure. The traces of blue are a great way to set off all the greens and reds.

This weeks Bargain Corner I am just so in love with!!The Legend of Webb Hill by Dana Brooks is such a whimsical collection. I honestly can't find one thing that I don't like about this collection. This collection is regularly $52.50 and is on sale for 50% off at $26.25. Hurry while supplies last there are only 2 left!!!!!!

Stash it Sunday ~ Week 29

So something you should know about me I am not one for surprises or at least had not been until the past couple years. Now I have a new found appriciation for them. A couple weeks ago I put in an order for some fabrics and I was just so torn I could not decide. I was drooling over all the beautiful collections that our wonderful sponsors have over at the

I just so happen to be surfing through their sales when I saw the Mystery Fat Quarter bundles on sale. I thought about it really hard and decided to go for it. So I purchased two of them. I have to admit I was dying of anticipation the entire time it was in the mail. But I tell you what when the ups man rang my door bell I don't think I have ever been so excited.

The first fat quarter bundle that I opened was part of the Christmas Countdown Collection by Deb Strain. at the point my mouth was watering. I was just so in love with what I got. To me it was perfect!! I think it will make for a great quilted table center piece.

My 2nd mystery Fat quarter bundle I loved just as much. Acacia by Tula Pink was perfect!!! Not only did i love the colors and prints but it was bright and cheerful. I think this collection would make for a great bag

I think I will most definitely be picking up more mystery packs in the future.
If you haven't had the pleasure then make sure you stop in and see all the amazing collections that Fat Quarter Shop has to offer. The site is neatly organized so you can find exactly the style of fabric you are looking for.

Stash it Sunday ~ Week 28

As most of you know I love ALL fibers. I have 2 MASSIVE (in my eyes) stashes fabric and yarn. Crocheting has been part of my life for 25 years this year and over those years I have collected my fair share of yarn. So I think Stash it Sunday should be about all fiber stashes, which is why this week I chose to stop by a fellow Mad Mad Maker and new friend

When I first got to see the amazing hand dyed hand spun yarns that Yarn Baby, LLC has made I literally started drooling. I am in LOVE!!!!!! She has such amazing talent with her color combinations. I can't wait to get my hands on my own skein of Yarn Baby's hand dyed hand spun yarn.

I would love to make some socks or an amazing hooded scarf with some of this yarn. What would you make if you had a skein or two of some of this beautiful yarn? We will stop by again and I will show you some of my personal favorites.

If you have not had the chance to stop by Yarn Baby LLC yet then hop on over. You can check out her website or visit her on Facebook

Happy Crafting,

Stephanie

Stash it Sunday ~ Week 24

Welcome to Stash it Sunday

I have seen so many people celebrating Christmas in July and I had to join in with all the fun. This week we stopped over at a great shop.

A Merry Little Christmas by Zoe Pearn is a beautiful Christmas collection. I am really digging on the whites, silvers and blues this coming Christmas. Call me old fashion but living up here in Wisconsin I love my winter wonderlands. This collection reminds me of just that. I think this would make a beautiful throw while cuddling with the family next to the fire.

Below I found some awesome panels/collections that I found on sale. I know we can't always afford our favorite designer fabrics but if you are like me its hard to resist a sale. So here were a couple of my favorite sale items.

Happy Sunday!!!!!!!

So I have been thinking about adding a little something to the Stash it Sunday Posts. For now on I will not only share my favorite new collections but you are also going to see some of my favorite on sale or clearance collections as well for those fabric bargain hunters. Once again this week we are stopping by our favorite sponsor

The Summer Cleo Collection by Another Point of View is definitely a me type collection. I love its simplicity not to mention the beautiful butterflies, AND its purple!!!!! I have to be honest I would love to have a throw quilt from this collection. I am in LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!! I think the stripes and dots give it the perfect touch of contrast.

For the new bargain deal collection I found was the Grunge Basics by BasicGrey. I would love to have this collection for my solid color stashes. This collection would be great to offset some of those other collections you might have laying around.

Stash it Sunday ~ Week 22

Happy Early 4th of July!!!!

This is going to be a busy week for my family as we LOVE fireworks and we try to go to as many firework shows as we can. I also have a new pattern in testing and working on a new collections to add to the clay shop. Busy, Busy, Busy.....Anyway today is Sunday and that means I get to share with you some fabric collections that I would love to see in my own stash. This week we are stopping by our AWESOME Sponsor

Fat Quarter Shop

I LOVE Bravery Operation Homefront by Island Batiks. This is a obvious one that I would love to have and make into our family firework quilt to lay out on the grass and watch the show with. When I first saw this one my jaw dropped. It is literally everything I have been looking for in a collection for this 4th of July Firework quilt I want to make for my family.

I couldn't help but share the Stars and Stripes II Stonehenge collection by Linda Ludovico. I have shared many of the Stonehenge collections in the past. The reason being because Linda truly makes some of the best holiday and none holiday fabric collections in my eyes. This is such a classic collection that would honestly look great in any 4th of July project.

However today I wanted to share another Stash it Sunday with you. This week we stopped in at our friend Julie from

Most people that know me know I LOVE Colors!!!!!! Just simple colors. Most of my crafting materials are all stored in color order. When I saw this collections, REMIX  OVALS by Anne Kelle I just knew I had to add it to my stash want list. There are honestly a dozens of ideas floating through my head in which I could use this collection. I think everyone needs a collection like this to balance out the other prints.

Stash it Sunday ~ Week 18

Welcome to another awesome week of Stash it Sunday!!!

Summer is almost here. Our camper is ready to go. Our boat is ready to go and I am pumped. I can't wait to spend this summer outdoors with my family. Keeping that in mind there are tons of things I still need to make yet for this summer. So I have been on the hunt for some great outdoor type fabrics that would go great with our activities.

Seeing how I have the most understanding sponsor in the world  I had to stop in there again this week.

Fat Quarter Shop

Among the Pines by Jennifer Pugh is a BEAUTIFUL Collection. I think it would make for an amazing quilt to sit down as you are taking a rest while hiking through the woods. Or to lay over your lap while watching the campfire. To me it just screams TAKE ME CAMPING!!!!  Who wouldn't want this thrown over their bed at the cabin. Even my husband loves this collection. This will definitely be a must have in my house.
